ABOUT THE ARTISTS - ROB & KIM
Kim and Rob have been together since 1984. Both discovered the dormant artist within after taking a few stained glass classes six years ago. Talent is a trickster, as we all know, and after college degrees, corporate jobs, owning businesses and travel adventures, the artist’s call could not be ignored.
Moving to the beautiful Upper Peninsula of Michigan, with the energy and power of Lake Superior, deep woods and solitude nudged our creative juices and Blue Feather Stained Glass Works began to take form.
A natural expression of spiritual art awakened, since our passion has always been learning about the mysteries and majesty of this precious life on Earth.
We have studied metaphysics for twenty years and have worked deeply on ourselves to become the most healthy, whole, balanced people we can be. Crop Circle Mysteries, Celtic and Native Spiritual teachings and a plethora of books and tapes have helped shape our journey along the path of our life's adventure together.
So, we have taken the leap into our dreams and visions of twenty years. "Blue Feather Stained Glass Works" has emerged and we are excited and grateful to share it with you. We give you our art and a part of our soul-work with the hope it will touch your soul and heart the way it does ours.
The hand-crafted pieces you will explore are made precision, integrity, and utmost care. Each one has a power and energy of its own. We hope this stained glass strikes you and helps you on your own spiritual journey.
We will customize colors and designs to your liking. Rob draws all the patterns by hand and can create just about anything you want in Stained Glass Art.
Our passion is Crop Circle Stained Glass. We are fascinated with this amazing phenomenon happening all over the world and believe the symbols are healing and help awaken our consciousness (see crop circle section for details).
There are a variety of wonderful metaphors we find while making stained glass art. The process teaches us about letting go, as we break glass with our bare hands! It helps us develop precision, detail and patience because it a very slow step by step art form. Eventually, the tiny colored pieces and shards of glass fit magically together, like a puzzle, to form a cohesive whole of beauty that reflects the light of the sun and brings a classic, old world and sacred resonance to our environment.
We love it & hope you do too!
With Care,
Rob & Kim
